Brush and Leaf Disposal - Lynden Township does not currently have an official location for brush disposal. However, these companies do offer brush disposal for a fee: Tom Kraemer Inc., 320-685-8226 or Henkemeyer Landfill, 320-252-6487. (Only residents from the City of Clearwater may leave brush and leaves at the city site by the Clearwater Water Tower.)

Lynden Township is located in the south eastern corner of Stearns County, Minnesota, bordered by the Mississippi River on the North and the Clearwater River on the East. Although rural by nature, today it is considered a progressive area with an ever increasing population and growing business community.

The township is home to many lakes, rivers and streams and is host to a number of different recreation opportunities, including a county park, private campgrounds and a groomed snowmobile trail. A cooperative movement with several other municipal governments provides library service and a bike/recreation trail that will eventually link the Beaver Island Trail in St. Cloud, with the City of Clearwater, also runs through Lynden Township.

Because of its unique location, it is served by two fire departments from the cities of Clearwater and Annandale. School age children attend St. Cloud, Annandale and Kimball school districts.

The proximity to major transportation routes makes Lynden Township a good location for light industrial manufacturing, as is evidenced in the industrial parks that line the freeway corridor.
